I'm quiet and hard to upset; often timid, but a joker at heart; a vegetarian, though not too strict and not one to proselytize; my foremost hobby is punctuation and I am not afraid of semicolons;
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm about to leave the country for the first time to spend two months in Düsseldorf, where I'll be on a scholarship to improve my German. I'd love to meet interesting new people while I'm there. I also need a place to stay for the first couple of days, since I'll be arriving a little early!
First of all I love language and nature. Sometimes I catch myself reading books more for style than for content. Sometimes I catch myself ditching my flip-flops at inappropriate times just to get my feet on the grass. Sometimes I catch myself doing both at once, heading straight to a ditch or a pond (please yell).
I love learning, teaching, biking, and trying new things. I've also been slowly getting into visual arts; this year I worked as a docent in the local Biennale, and it was a fantastic experience.
