About Me

Hey! I'm a Brazilian guy, curious, easygoing and always up for learning something new.

I’m passionate about travel, real conversations, and moments that can’t be captured in a photo. I’ve had to pause and really listen to myself at times, and that brought me both some quiet and the ability to laugh at my own mess. At some point, I just realized the world’s way too big to stay in one place forever and way too small not to connect with people along the way.

Scorpio sun with Capricorn rising (intense, but practical, haha), I love when conversations go beyond the surface, when there’s a real exchange, the kind you remember with a smile on your face.

I got lost in India, found peace hiking in Georgia, felt deeply touched by strangers I barely knew, and learned that freedom sometimes fits in a backpack.

Right now, I’m in a new phase: traveling to learn more about the world and myself, while investing in personal projects that connect me to purpose, simplicity, and presence.

Also: coffee and a good conversation? That’s pretty much the way to my heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To me, Couchsurfing is one of the most meaningful ways to travel, connecting with real people, sharing life stories, and expanding perspectives on both sides. It’s not about money, it’s about genuine encounters, meaningful exchanges, and friendships that often last beyond the trip.

I’ve had unforgettable moments with hosts and fellow travelers, and each of them taught me something about the world and about myself. I like the idea of staying with someone not as a guest, but as a human being open to connection.

In the end, traveling this way reminds me that we’re all different, yet deeply connected.

Interests

I’m passionate about meaningful conversations, personal growth, and discovering new cultures through everyday life, not just landmarks. I love learning phrases in different languages, wandering without a fixed plan, and finding joy in the small, simple things. I’m also into astrology, journaling, and projects that help people live with more presence and freedom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Quit my job to travel the world (twice), probably the scariest and most freeing decisions I’ve ever made;
- The first time I ever boarded a plane, it was to move to Ireland… ended up living there for almost 2 years;
- Crossed the Atlantic on a ship from Spain to Brazil (15 days watching nothing but ocean and sunsets);
- Moved to São Paulo (the biggest city in South America) with all my stuff, without ever having visited before;
- Hiked an active volcano in Indonesia;
- Went canyoneering in Badian, Philippines, jumping off cliffs into turquoise waters;
- Celebrated Holi Festival in India;
- Took a 10-day silent meditation course in India;
- Randomly saw the Dalai Lama in person, right after joking with friends about bumping into him.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you:
Some easy and tasty Brazilian food (like brigadeiro or farofa, depending on what we have), fun facts about Brazilian culture, travel stories, and maybe a few forró dance moves after a couple of beers.

I want to learn:
Anything that comes with heart, it can be a family recipe, a song you love, an inspiring idea, or something simple from your everyday life. I believe everything can teach us something.

I can/want to share:
Real-life and travel stories, good conversations, some jokes, and genuine presence, which is rare and precious nowadays.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides what I mentioned before, I really enjoy listening to people’s life stories, and I’m happy to share some of mine too, which often come with laughs (and a bit of reflection!).

I can also introduce you to all kinds of Brazilian music: from emotional classics to fun or even slightly crazy ones. There’s MPB, forró, funk "big forbidden", sertanejo… it all depends on your curiosity (or bravery) haha
