ABOUT ME

I grew up in the rolling cornfields of the Midwest on the family farm, raising many kinds of livestock and having a very direct relationship with my food. Now I study Ag Business at a small school in Vermont with intent of establishing a raw milk dairy someday, somewhere.

I'm fairly laid back and don't enjoy loud partying. My idea of a wild Friday night is tea and a few episodes of Archer.

PHILOSOPHY

Respect all, even what you don't understand, because not understanding something doesn't make it wrong. I am open to learning and broadening my understandings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I'm in school, I can't host any couchsurfers, but also since I'm in school, I can rarely afford typical hotel/motel arrangements. And besides, how else can I meet people face to face?

兴趣

Aside from agricultural pursuits, my interests vary from drawing to writing to holistic canine nutrition to reading tarot. I've got a shop on Etsy where I sell my artwork. I also love to cook, but being a Celiac limits me a tad bit.

I love historical films and books, smart independent movies, and most any witty humor. As for music, that ranges drastically. My favorite artist currently is a Polish pop artist named Cleo.

For a final in an outdoor skills class at college, I took a four-day, 25 mile hike through the Lowell mountains in December. It was chilly.

Also, in class, at the same school, I chopped down a tree. It doesn't sound like much, but I was pretty proud.
