ABOUT ME

I prefer short visits, max 3 nights. Not accepting guests now until JANUARY, 2019
I prefer having women in my flat, so its NO to men. Please don't send me a friend request or a request to stay if you are a MAN. It's not personal to you, its about safety for me.

PLEASE NOTE: I get a lot of requests because I live in London. If you don't have much in common with me, please DONT send a request 'in case' I am free because it takes me too long to reply to all the requests I get..

I'm 71, and a lifelong feminist, keen to see more of the world. Started my art career at 52, arranged many Feminist Art Shows, would like to meet more artists and feminists of all genders.
In the past I have been to China (1977), Australia (1994), US (1973 and 2011!), and many places in Europe. Greece is my greatest love.
I have 2 grandsons, 3 years old and nearly 9 , and many friends, tho illness is increasing in my friendship group.
I am a member of art groups and an ageing group. I have quirky sense of humour and like the absurd.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a lovely friendly person. I do like people to be on time, and don't want late hours and no smoking. I have been away a lot recently in Greece working alongside refugees, so I have not been accepting couchsurfers. Now I am back home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couch surfing in Arizona/Greece/Germany/Utah I had a fabulous time and people were really friendly and helpful. I've met and hosted quite a few people over here now. I get a lot of requests at holiday times, so bear with me.. I can be slow at answering.

Música, películas y libros

Loads of books. My three personal faves are Beloved by Toni Morrisson, Gilead by Marilyn Robinson, and Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse by Louise Erdrich. I enjoyed reading Charles Dickens last winter, and managed 4 of his novels. Surprised by how funny he is!

Algo increíble que he hecho

China in the 70's. I loved it. Working with artists from different countries, currently in Greece as refugees. I have met many amazing people with many skills, brilliant ideas and concern about the world.
Setting up Womens Refuge in the 70's.
Writing my book 'Bare Feet Keep You Safe' was amazing. It is out on Kindle and Amazon now.
I love Arizona and Utah, the scenery... Greece is my second favourite place in the world.
Venice made me feel so happy.
