ABOUT ME

Hi! I am currently living in Iowa City, Iowa, where I am a graduate student and Research Assistant at the University of Iowa. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and went to college at the University of Illinois.
I would describe myself as fun and adventurous; I love exploring new places and trying new things. I can be very laid-back as well, sometimes I really enjoy spending my time curled up on the couch with a good book or movie. I enjoy meeting new people and learning from what they have to share!

PHILOSOPHY

I really want to do as much traveling and experience as much as I can while I am able to. I believe that by immersing myself into different cultures, I can grow as a person and develop a more open minded view of the world.

I haven't participated as of yet, but am hoping to get more involved as both a surfer and host!

I am interested in science, environmentalism, animals, crafts, baking, learning to cook, exploring new places, and trying new things. I'd really like to become proficient in more languages, I have been dabbling in learning bits of Italian recently, but have a ways to go :)
