I have recently returned to Auckland after travelling for five months. I work in a book shop and like to cook, sew, write and make things in my spare time. I love going to see bands, visiting galleries and hanging out in nature.

I recently had my first experiences with couchsurfing in Italy and France and have stayed with some lovely people and really enjoyed being in a home rather than an impersonal hostel, sharing stories and cooking together. Now looking forward to hosting some people in my hometown.

Wong Kar-wai, David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch and Micheal Haneke are a few directors I like.

I like reading graphic novels, fiction and nonfiction.

I would love to teach/learn some new recipes. We also just got a pottery wheel at my house and would be happy to teach others how to use it once I figure it out myself! Very keen to pick up some languages as well.
