Hi! My name is Caitlin. I'm 26 years old and this is my second time in Asia. My favorite thing in life is to travel and to meet new people- I believe it is the very best way to grow as a person and learn the life lessons that are truly important. The last time I was on this side of the world, I spent 4 months teaching English to refugees from Myanmar up north. This was an experience that changed my life! My goal this time around is to continue my journey in learning from others as well as giving what knowledge I have to those I meet along the way :).

I love music more than anything. My friends back in the States are huge fans of String Cheese Incident, and so am I. I have traveled to many festivals to see them perform. I also love Modest Mouse, Glass Animals, Cassino, Trevor Hall, Sigur Ros, Black Sabbath, Regina Spektor, and many many other bands that don't fall into any category :)

My favorite book right now is the Four Agreements, though I haven't read it in a long time and have been on the search for a copy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of the most amazing experiences I've had in my life was my 20 day road trip I took from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Vietnam on a semi automatic motorbike. It was the first time I had ever driven one, and though I took a couple spills, I made it to the north with a couple days to spare on my visa :). The sites and the people were INCREDIBLE!

I can share many skills with my host/host family. I am certified to teach English and can help hone speaking skills. I have traveled much in the United States and can share my experience. I love listening and learning as well.
