I'm on an open-ended solo cross country road trip! I started driving from New England on New Year's Eve.

I'm all about outdoor adventures, especially hiking and backpacking. I love learning nerdy stuff, hearing funky music, joining casual jams with my violin, and listening to people's stories. I'm curious, spontaneous, extremely laid back, and always in a good mood.

I adopted a stray puppy from a Navajo reservation mid-trip, so you would be hosting the two of us! My dog Zia is extremely friendly with both people and dogs, playful, quiet, housebroken, and obedient. I guarantee you will want to steal her.

I don't plan on going back to Massachusetts anytime soon! Instead, I'm wandering the West, on the lookout for where I want to live next. I have been mostly tent camping in national forests, sometimes staying with friends. I think Couchsurfing will help me to meet even more interesting people, and to get local perspective on what makes a place unique. I can't wait to pay it forward and welcome travelers when I finally have my own home.
