Hi there!

My name is Caitlin andI'm originally from New York. The last few years have taken me to many amazing places and I’ve lived adventures I used to only dream about. I am currently living in Ciudad Real and teaching English a small town nearby. I enjoy hiking and reading and always look forward to meeting new people (and trying new foods!). I prefer listening to talking, early mornings to late nights, and bars to clubs :)

I'm new to Couchsurfing and hoping to become a member of this great community as I travel and attend meetups with other Couchsurfers. When I have a permanent apartment once again, I hope to keep the feeling of 'traveling' alive by becoming a host and learning from each guest I meet.

Music - I'm almost always listening to music... Indie , Folk, Country, Pop (sometimes), Musicals (Next to Normal, Hamilton), Rap (somewhat limited), Classic Rock (I love the songs I love but am definitely not an expert)

I went bungy jumping in New Zealand! Definitely scarier (for me) than things like skydiving because there's no guide, no one to give you that little 'push' off the platform. That being said, I totally recommend it!
