About Me
Hey Couchsurfers!
I'm an Aussie girl who is lucky enough to spend 4-5 months every year traveling, and this year has been spent meandering up and down the West Coast of the US and Canada! It's been a hectic trip so far (four months in!) and I'm looking to spend my final month being a 'yes' woman and taking random opportunities that are thrown at me (time permitting!).
I've participated in work and stay programs in Argentina, California and BC and have met some of my closest friends that way. There's something about the type of human beings that put themselves in those kinds of situations that I find very easy to click with!
I finished training as a pastry chef one month before I started this trip, so I'm pretty new to the world of croissants and cakes! But if you have a functional kitchen I'd love to do some recipe sharing with you. I'm also a camp counselor for the YMCA on a range of different programs. Some for kids in state care, some for indigenous leaders, some for young politicians. I get a kick out of the way that no two camps are the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had my first experience at the end of December in Victoria, BC (cheers Leanne!) and it was just an awesome time. I've been meeting great people, seeing beautiful places, eating delicious food and wondering why I didn't start Couchsurfing a long time ago!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Bolivia I had a dip with some river dolphins. They normally relish their role of protecting humans from piranhas and caiman, but yells from the boat soon had me learning that a big bad caiman had surfaced a couple of feet behind me.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking is my absolute love. It's my chill out at the end of the day.
I like cooking alone...or with someone...or with a whole team of people! It's something that should be fun, never a chore. I love a challenge too, so all you vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, pollotarians, lacto-ovo vegetarians etc. have no fear, I'd love to give it my best! And also learn some recipes from you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A few beers, plenty of laughs and a Couchsurfing host in Melbourne when (if) I go home!
