Books

Im pretty much a sucker for thrillers, call me a bore but as soon as I'm reading a mystery you cant pull me away from it! I love the usual culprits; Jo nesbo, Stieg Larsson, Dan Brown.... even Agatha Christie. Nothing wrong with the good old classics, but love reading books by up and coming authors too!

Music

I really love to change up what genre of music im interested in. Right now im obsessed with Rainbow Kitten Surprises, but ive been known to enjoy lots of different artists. For example; Tame Impala, First Aid Kit, Lewis Capaldi, Asgier, The Lumineers, Alt-J, Mumford and sons, Hozier, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Milky Chance... also Pop stuff too like Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish..

Not too fussy with music and happy to listen to anything!

Movies

Not fussy, I enjoy most things from Lord of the Rings through to Love Actually. Anything with a good/ new plot that is well made and not too gory will have me hooked.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can name a few things, or things that have happened to me;

I’ve sailed to the Isle of Man with 3 others on a small sailing boat from Northern Ireland.

I’ve been rudely awoken by a mama black bear and her 3 cubs whilst camping in Canada.

Been caught in a thunder storm in an aluminum canoe in Algonquin National Park.

Rock climbed in areas of Scotland and the south of the Sierra Nevada National park in Spain.

Volunteered with disadvantaged children with Barnardos charity.

Taught English to classes of 55+ 12 year olds in China.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook vegetarian recipes and I’m happy to cook with you and share some recipes. If you’re interested I could teach you to sport climb. Or maybe show you how to make a decent loaf of bread!

Overall, I’m just happy to share what I know and teach you about my culture and I’m excited to learn about yours!!
