COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couchsurfed once, but it was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I was surprised by the difference it makes to stay with someone as opposed to getting a hotel room - the inside look at a town instead of the tourist view makes all the difference.

兴趣

Being active and being creative are two very important parts of my life. I love running, biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and roller blading, and am up to trying new things whenever I can. I also like to write, cook, and do arts and crafts on occasion.

I'm very social and I love to meet new people and experience new things.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Driving through the mountains/bluffs on the Canada/Minnesota border and climbing to the top of one of them during the fall. Both the mountains themselves and the vistas from the one we hiked up were breathtaking.

The vastness of the ocean and the realization that what you see standing on the shore is only a tiny fraction of it.

Seeing Minnehaha falls for the first time.
