ABOUT ME

I am an outgoing person, who tends to be just a little bit odd. I like to pretend that this makes me more interesting. I really love travelling and I am hoping that couch surfing will help me meet new people in different places. I am new to couch surfing but I have had a lot of experience travelling and hostelling. Can't wait to take this next step.

PHILOSOPHY

Not really sure how to define my personal philosophy. I love spontaneous experiences with interesting people...that maybe involve food. Or, I just love spending time with people and learning new things. All the things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am willing to host people or meet up for food and drinks. I have no problem showing people around Charlotte and giving mini not-so-informative tours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have only helped to co-host two couchsurfers, but haven't had a chance to do any couchsurfing myself. I cannot wait to expand my experience.

Interests

I love meeting new people and seeing what their views are on the world. Annd I am obsessed with food. I think one of the absolute best parts of travelling is trying foods in new places and finding new favorites. I also love learning new languages, even if it is only a few words.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a huge movie buff, but I like movies. I just don't have very high standards. I do love me some literature, though. Huge reading fan. I am not sure I have a favorite book, but I reread The Alchemist maybe three times a year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went and visited Ireland in November of 2011 with one of my best friends and we climbed a set of sea cliffs in Co. Donegal. The view from the top was both incredible and terrifying. Mostly because I am a bit phobic about heights.
