Hola a todos! I'm Caitlin and my husband is Alejandro, and we are from the U.S. and Colombia. We are hoping to experience new places and cultures, and meet new people along the way! We would like to practice English and Espanol with you (we are both still learning each other's language), as well as any other languages that you might speak (perhaps Portugues?). We also love food, and cooking breakfast is our specialty.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We will be traveling throughout South America for the first half of 2018, and hope to at times stay with the locals to share conversation and perhaps a meal or day hike together. We look forward to meeting some of you lovely people along the way!

We love a wide variety of genres of music, such as salsa, vallenato, reggae, folk, etc.. We both like movies but Alejo is the more hardcore fan, and he loves finding those unique foreign films that no one has ever heard of.

Depending on who you ask, this may not seem amazing, but we think so... when we got married we could barely communicate! Alejo spoke espanol and I spoke english. We've since learned a lot, but let's just say that back then simple conversations could take a long time.

We love photography, rock climbing, and languages, and we'd like to share these things with you! We're not professionals at any of them, but definitely enthusiasts of all!
