ABOUT ME

I think every day is an opportunity for new things, everything can change in an instant. I enjoy all things art and music and like going out to explore my surroundings and love seeing new things. I am laid back and I think pretty easy to get along with. Im good to go with the flow. I've heard people say I'm pretty silly, I just think I have a good sense of humor and enjoy a good laugh! I genuinely think I have a good heart, if you are my friend , I'll stick by you no matter what.

PHILOSOPHY

I think our existence is spectacular and if more people realized that, there would be less turmoil in the world.I think we all need a little help sometimes and we should all be willing to give a little more.

I haven't stayed with or hosted anyone yet but am excited about the possibilities! For right now I am just looking for places while I travel but hope to host myself at some point.

I'm totally new at couch surfing but am really excited to see what comes of it!

Interessen

Art (making and seeing), music (live, listening, collecting vinyl), going out for beers and meeting rad new people. I really enjoy adventures big and small. It's also pretty typical to see me with my camera in hand. I also enjoy good discussions about life, psychology, philosophy, politics. I can hold a good conversation.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I like a lot of different music, but mostly within the indie genre. Lately I've been listening to a lot of How To Dress Well, Lykke Li, Fuck Buttons, St Vincent. But some of my old favorites include PJ Harvey, Franz Ferdinand, Bjork, Joy Division, Neutral Milk Hotel, etc. Record collecting is a big part of my music enjoyment as well.

When it comes to movies it's definitely more about the experience of actually going to the movies. I've loved going to the movies since I was small and even if the movie is crap I think it's still justifiable! But I do love me some Wes Anderson, Cohen Brother, PT Anderson and so forth, with some foreign films mixed in there as well.

This last New Years I climbed up to the top of the Palace of Fine Arts (which you aren't supposed to do) and watched the fireworks across the bay at midnight.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Coming from San Francisco, I feel like I have learned a unique perspective on life and how people coexist. I also know that there are a lot of different ideas out there and am the kind of person willing to open a dialogue. In terms of what I am looking to learn...well honestly I'm looking to learn more about the world around me and how awesome people can be outside of my own community. I suppose I'd like to learn how to be more fearless.
