Hello, I'm Caitlyn. It's lovely to meet you!

I'm 23, I'm from Australia but have been living in London for a year. My super awesome theatre lighting designer life didn't turn out how I planned so now I'm exploring the world, taking chances and trying new things.

It's been really refreshing to take a step back and just enjoy the world instead of having complete tunnel-vision towards a career.

I love a good laugh, and really love learning about the history behind the sites I go to. I also love taking on the big philosophical questions of life, love and the universe at ridiculous times of the morning.

I also love buying lots of candy and mixing them together to make new, improved frankenstein candy.

I'm an honest person, who is easy to get along with. I like to fill my days with fun things and share what I have experienced with others. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE hearing about the exciting things other's have been up to.

2015- Rough Plan!

April/May- Walk the El Camino De Santiago
May-June- Explore Portugal, Germany, Austria, Poland and France
July- Hit up Scotland and Ireland before heading to the USA
Aug-USA! USA!
September- Back home to Aus, buy a couch for all my new friends to stay on!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would be really excited to meet new people. To get the local, inside knowledge of the cities I visit.
Also, traveling alone can get lonely so it would be really nice to have someone to share some experiences with or at least say hello to at the end of the day.

I love the community, and I want to share Australia with you wonderful people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Spotify told me my favourite music genre was Indie-Rock. Which is a weird way to describe Shaggy.
I have an eclectic taste in music ranging from Tame Impala, Frank Turner, The Kooks to Sia, T-Swizzle to Backstreet Boys, Steps, S Club 7. AQUA!

I love watching all films, the good, the bad, the horrendous.

I used to read a lot of Sci-Fi but recently I've been reading a lot of Auto Biographies.
