About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to make memories with strangers from all over the world and I want us to show each other things we've never seen before.
ABOUT ME
I am curious, kind, hungry for new experience--hungry for everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I am hosting. Even though I've just made my profile, I have received many requests so far, and my calendar is filling up quickly! I'm very excited for this new chapter of my life.
I have a large, beautiful, artfully designed apartment in East Pilsen. I am surrounded by public transportation and am about 7-minutes from Downtown Chicago.
I live with my brother, who is a photographer.
I have a very comfy couch and an air mattress to offer as well as meals. I would love to show travellers the city and learn new things from each other. Hopefully, someday, when I am visiting their city, we might meet again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had an amazing experience hosting a German student a few years ago. I did not have a couchsurfing profile at the time. I actually met him at the Clark/Lake El stop! He looked lost, and I asked him if he needed some help. We got to talking and eventually he told me that his CS hosts had bailed on him, so I invited him back with me because he didn't have anywhere else to go.
We spent the entire night discussing philosophy and politics with my roommates at the time, and I learned so much from him. It was a warm, lovely experience, and I am certain we will be lifelong friends.
