ABOUT ME

I currently live in Las Vegas with my best mate. We've been here for 6 months now and after a rocky start, I have to admit...its growing on me.

I grew up in a beach town in Australia and loved it! I had such a positive and healthy childhood, mostly thanks to my parents and I'm very greatful for that. As a kid I spent my days camping, surfing, rafting and anything else outdoorsy you can think of. I'm pretty relaxed and a 'glass half full' kind of person. I'm easy to keep happy - good company and good conversation and I'm satisfied.

PHILOSOPHY

I genuinely enjoy being alive. I'm going to be one of those people who look back on their lives and smile proudly because I've achieved what I wanted to, i've had fun along the way and I've lived my dream.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done it my whole life but not using this site. I don't think a weekend goes by when there's not someone and their mate (and usually their mates' mates) on my couch

My facebook says....i laugh a lot - christmas - summer & december -sun and salt on my skin- travel -long runs- surfing at sunrise - mountain climbing- scuba diving -skydiving- photography -white water rafting- camping -beach BBQ's- "a few quiet ones" with bridge -road trips- a good book - family - good food - best mates - new languages - guitar....

But living in vegas your options are closer to hiking mount charleston and lake mead, going to the pools or if your feeling really adventurous...hiking out at red rock. I love to be active and healthy so I'm doing my best to try and stick to that lifestyle in Vegas.

Other than that...

My parents were the ultimate travellers and so i spent a massive amount of time being a hippy kid and helping with high ropes courses, canooing trips etc.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Anything and everything. I'm a big fan of live music. My tastes range from Bob Marley to Sublime to AFI to Ayo etc.

I also love a good book and a good movie. ie Super Troopers, Oceans Eleven, SWAT etc.

1. Crashed my moped into a bus in Vanuatu
2. Watched the sunset over the grand canyon from a helicopter
3. Passed out in the palms playboy tower...not my finest hour
4. Gone Sky Diving and Adventure racing
5. Watched the sunrise on Uluru and most Aussie landmarks
6.Got my Scuba Diving License and scuba'd in Fiji and Australia
7. Watch the sunset while surfing in remote Australia
8. Worked as a bar chick on Ios island in greece
9. Ran out of money and had to live on tinned soup during a road trip to Western Aus.
9. Drove from England to wales to try some local cuisine and a freshly brewed beer for the afternoon.
10. Done many a ski trip, P&O cruise, beach trip
8. Had the time of my life and sweated my butt off in the moshpit at BigDayOut to the Prodigy
9. and a whole lot more but youd have to meet me to find out

I can teach you guitar (pretty crappily though!), how to surf, how to beerbong, how to cook, photography, anything outdoors usually, anything and everything on the australian culture....
