Hey ! I’m Calvin

I’m an open-minded, curious, and easy-going French traveller who loves learning new things, discovering new places, and meeting people from all walks of life. I’ve always been drawn to simple pleasures – a good hike, a beautiful view, a great conversation.

I spent most of my life in France, but I’ve always had a nomadic spirit. Staying in one place has never been easy for me, which is probably why I’ve just spent the last two years travelling through Asia.

I’m passionate about the outdoors – hiking, camping, climbing, and pretty much any sport under the open sky. I’m also a good cook (at least my friends say so haha), and I love preparing meals to share with others.

Now I’m heading to Perth to work for at least a year, and I’m looking forward to connecting with locals, exchanging stories, and making new memories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The concept of couchsurfing totally seduces me. Get into local life by living with the locals, or simply traveling by welcoming. Interact with people from different cultures, learn and discover languages or customs.
I really think that if we act the best possible way in life, it will come back to us.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I tried, with a friend, to hitchhike to Morocco from France. We arrived on the day of the COVID at the ferry in Spain and spent 2 weeks on a beach in a bamboo grove with our tent, wanting to see if it would calm down.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I looove cooking, we can share stories with a good meal and a bottle of wine maybe ? 🤷‍♂️
