ABOUT ME

Traveling is a passion. Education is my life. Family is my rock. Coffee is my addiction. I am a current graduate student at Columbia University in New York City. Before moving to NYC, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area. I went to college at UC Berkeley and studied political science and public health. I am the youngest of five children and I was exposed to traveling at a very young age. I have been adamant about seeing the world since my childhood. If it means working hard, then I will do what it takes to travel.

PHILOSOPHY
Be open-minded and culturally sensitive. Often times its hard to realize that there are other cultures out there besides American, which I find to be an amalgam of different roots and flavors. I want to meet people who can offer a different perspective besides my own. We all have something to share.

I am passionate about education and wouldn't mind teaching as a profession. What I would teach....is to be determined. I have far more to learn and experience before I make those life-altering decisions.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The last time I used Couchsurfing was in 2010 when I was studying abroad. I've only experienced it in London.

Volleyball, Basketball, Football (American), R&B and Hip Hop Music, Comedy Films, Food, Art History, and much more. Exploring the world and meeting new people is what I would love to do full-time, if I could.

Teach people how to cook some common Filipino dishes. Share my life growing up in California where you'll find the more materialistic and conservative people in the southern part versus the more liberal and progressive minded in the Bay Area.
