Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am living in Albania for a short period of time, so I am trying to make the most of this opportunity. Couch surfing is a great vehicle for this. I was made aware of the CS project by friends who have done it, and encouraged me to develop this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just visited Berlin, and stayed on my friends' couch. It was an amazing trip. My hosts knew all about the city, so they were able to direct me to all the best places to see, restaurants to eat at, etc. I felt like I had a more authentic experience there and I am glad for it.

If, for some reason, your battery dies in your manual transmission car, you can bump start it. To do this, put the car in a high gear, say 3. Push the clutch pedal (pull the clutch in). Then get a friend (or a couple friends) to push your car forward. Keep pushing get it rolling fast. Once your vehicle has enough momentum, release the clutch. This will forcibly turn over your engine, causing it to start firing, and hopefully it will start. Note: try to do this on a hill with good traction, not on gravel, grass or ice.
