About Me

I’m just a guy, who immensely enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new things. I love mountains and learning and volleyball and rock climbing and cinnamon chai and books and authentic conversations. I love “Ah-ha Moments” where the light flickers on and I start understand different perspectives more. I love sharing stories, because that’s really all we have as humans, our stories.”

I want my life to be all about choosing the joy over the fear. :) I always say, our human potential to spread joy is unmatched by anything else in our known universe... and also our potential to spread hate. Which one are you?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people. Seeing the World. Sharing stories. Understanding other Perspectives. Becoming less self-centered. Embracing the Learning that only other humans can give.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once crashed a wedding with some other guys. Unexpectedly, the wedding planner left halfway through and (I was told this later) “drunk me” picked up her clipboard and took over the role. Everything went better than expected, I was thanked profusely by the bride and groom’s parents, and afterwards even helped with the tear down for the venue workers. I made 16 Facebook friends that night who told me the stories later, AND we got to keep all of the wedding food. 😁👌🏼

Teach, Learn, Share

Never Stop Learning. Everyone deserves to have someone to defend them. Tradition is not Truth, so don’t be afraid to ask questions and confront the norm.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully I can make them laugh :)
