Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Caleb. I'm new to CS, so forgive me if this is tough to get through. I like shooting pool, playing chess, reading, going for hikes or runs with my dog Story, and exploring as much as possible.
I grew up in Los Angeles, moved to The Woodlands in High School, and Graduated from UofH with a Mass Communications degree in Film & Motion Picture. I now work in Houston doing commercials and films on a professional scale and am looking to get a studio in the city by the end of the year.
I spend a lot of time in the mass of the city trying to soak up as much of the culture as possible. I love to read and write as well as shoot street photography (like everyone else these days)
I take pride in trying to push myself to learn something new everyday. I had a friend recommend Couchsurfing to me and I think is a good place to let that happen.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to meet some new people with fresh perspectives on life. You can become pretty stale in your own bubble after while so I am excited to see what this brings. I live in The Woodlands currently (45mins N. of Houston) so I sometimes miss out on the hustle and buzz of the city. I also work in the city quite a bit so I would like to find some couches to surf until I move in December.
Interests
Chess, Pool, and Risk are by far my 3 favorite games of all time. So there's that
I enjoy reading and writing. Sometimes just for me, other times for a short film or a music video I may be working on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove my car to Colorado and left it at a church for 3 weeks. Took a camping pack of gear and walked into the woods 128miles North(ish). Was trying to get a true measure of myself and see what I was capable of. No phones No work No laptops No credit cards. Best thing I ever did.
