ABOUT ME

I'm a very independent, confident person with a lot of wants and desires in life--most being travel-related. I'm extremely sociable, very congenial, and pretty damn resourceful when I need to be. I love to talk, dance, run, play tennis, and have a good time. I'm 21 so, naturally I tend to go out a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

Do good unto everyone and you will get it back. That's my philosophy. I'm not saying I go around starting soup kitchens or anything, but even something as small as smiling at someone on the street or complimenting someone's shoes on the subway. People appreciate the little things and you'd be surprised how much this affects your life.

I believe the most important knowledge we have to gain is that which we gain from other human beings and through interactions with different kinds of people. You can become smarter from reading books or taking classes, sure, but the real applicable knowledge is transferred through human experience. This is why I want to travel as much as possible and meet as many weird, crazy, quirky, awesome people I can!

I would have to say the most amazing thing I've done has been getting through my teenage years and staying true to myself despite a very abusive and backwards upbringing. After getting out of my parents' house, I studied at UC Berkeley and paid for it all on my own. I'm absolutely very proud of that.
