About Me

Music is my way of making sense of the world. I play the drums, cajon, guitar, piano, bagpipes, and saxophone. If it makes sound, I’ll probably try to jam with it.

spent about 11 years traveling as a wedding and presidential photographer before switching paths to become a digital marketing consultant for real estate agencies and non-profits. Those years on the road shaped me. They taught me to see people. To listen. To enjoy the strange, funny, unexpected moments that make a place unforgettable.

I’m currently on a journey of rediscovery. I’m drawn to stories, soul-level conversations, and experiences off the beaten track. If something has character, I’m interested.

I love potatoes, beaches, sipping tea, cracking silly jokes, hosting BBQs, inviting friends over, sleeping early, dreaming big, having wanderlust, wearing different shoes, collecting random slippers, going on outdoor adventures, spending time with family, avoiding spiders, inhaling noodles, enjoying wine, geeking out about tech, appreciating art, and laughing until my stomach hurts.

Nature calms me. Game nights energize me. Traffic jams annoy me, but audiobooks save the day.
Sometimes I wish Lord of the Rings were real, then I remember the orcs. Hard pass.

I feel most alive near rivers or deep in quiet forests. When I unwind, I go for long walks, do small home improvements, take late-night grocery runs, listen to music, or watch adults act ridiculous just to make a baby laugh. Somehow that always restores my soul.

Photography still moves me. A sun flare slipping between a couple at sunset can melt my heart. At weddings, you might catch me holding back tears, but I will absolutely deny it if you ask.

I’ve always felt a strong connection with people who’ve been overlooked. Ex-offenders, the homeless, the blind, outcasts. I believe broken people can find love and restoration. I volunteer with 40–50 ex-offenders regularly, and their resilience inspires me more than any book ever could.

Recently ended a 13-year relationship, so I’m taking life slowly. Exploring again. Rediscovering joy.

I’m up for museums, long night walks, beach picnics, musicals, deep conversations, coffee shop wandering, stargazing, cycling, new cities, and the occasional spontaneous adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

More than one?

• Regular lunches with a blind friend, who always shows me a different way to see the world.
• Been to Tibet during riots and Ukraine during the Crimea conflict. Both unforgettable places.
• Survived a bomb blast that destroyed a building. Life’s short.
• Hiked into a pitch-black forest in Munich for an underground music festival. Zero regrets.

There are many more stories. Happy to share them over a walk or a drink.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share little bits of guitar, piano, drums, cajon, and photography tips.
I love swapping cultural stories.
If you don’t mind occasional Chinese or Indonesian phrases slipping out, we’ll probably have a good laugh.

Let’s grab a jug of beer, chat through the night, or walk for hours exploring the city. Language, food, culture. That’s my sweet spot.

I’m an introvert, but not shy. If the vibes are genuine, I open up easily.
