actually there are 2 of us couchsurfing together, caleb and ben, 2 young sydney mates, leaving jobs, girlfriends, and responsibility behind, travelling around the world for a year, looking for loose times, adventure, and carmen sandiego! we like fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

roadtrips around the states crashing with friends, surfing holidays with mates in australia, hostels all over the world that became like second homes. sometimes i even like to sleep on the couch in my house instead of my bed - its an occasional treat.

Interests

tennis, surfing, writing, jack handy humour, tropical plant life, philosophy, dancing the night away, revolutions of the mind, ice sculpture, patting dogs that dont belong to me, banning capital letters from my sentence structure, michael flatley - lord of the dance.

movies - think paul thomas anderson, the coen brothers, curtis hanson, robert altman, epic sweeping dramas that explore humanity.

books - reading is the window to your alternate world! the way of the peaceful warrior is amazing! the life of pi, scar tissue, to kill a mockingbird, the world according to garp. choose your own adventure books, remember those? follow the path of truth to the hidden valley, explore the visceral cave of time, or descend into the canyon of doom via camel? gold!

How come the dove gets to be the International symbol of peace? How about the pillow? It has a lot more feathers than the dove, and it doesn't have that dangerous beak!
