About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel, meet new people, learn new things and have fun at the same time!

ABOUT ME

Josh and I (Ann) have been together for a few years now. We have three cats and live in an apartment smack in the middle of Baltimore and DC areas. We are not "party people" by any means, but do like to laugh and have a good time. We are pretty low-key people. We don't usually do big crowds, but do like being around groups of our friends.

We want to enjoy life, but both of us end up working a lot and don't get to "get away" very often.

PHILOSOPHY

Josh lives for spending time on the road, no matter the mode of transportation. I live for anything artistic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would love to eventually help host people, but our tiny apartment can only hold one person and our schedules can be hectic. Meanwhile, we'd love to meet for a meal or coffee, and might be able to put up one (maybe two) people for a night.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbies!!! Although I did once let a girl I knew only online and her three friends stay at my apartment when I was single. They were eternally grateful, and I got a turkey basting kit out of the experience (it was Christmastime).

And by the way, I do still own and use the turkey baster!

Interests

Hanging out with each other and friends, going running and/or to the gym, riding on his motorcycle and snuggling with our cats.

Oh, and coffee.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

thunderstorms, Hawaii, Mount Hood, being stationed on a submarine, traveling across Texas in one night, traveling cross-country, Great Falls, the Monuments in Utah, sunrises, triple rainbows, swimming with dolphins and sea turtles, watching a bald eagle fly...

Teach, Learn, Share

When you ask for something humbly, respectfully, peacefully, with hope and without expectation, the universe will always provide. "You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you might find you get what you need."
