ABOUT ME

I am a gap year kid right now, straddling high school and college and trying to travel as much as possible and see and experience the world before college (though when i am in college i will take any moment to travel then too).
I have lived most of my life in the US but for this year i am living in the Netherlands. I like the European feel of being so different and yet so close by each other and therefore having to work with differences. All this history and life all in the same place is great and i want to see it all!!! Plus the people are great ;)

PHILOSOPHY

The exciting part about having a plan for life is knowing that it will never work out, you just dont know how, and that if you roll with the punches it will usually be a lot more fun than anything you could have ever planned.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well i think everyone couch surfs at least once without knowing it will happen. I was out in Amsterdam with a group of people and i had to work the next day and i live out of town so i just crashed at one of the girls houses. Thats about the closest i have come to couch surfing and i am excited to experience it again, though this time i will try and be a bit more lively.
