to be a source of silly, intellectual, genuine, passionate experience.
I like science and clean water and earth so I became an environmental engineer.
I come from a family of six. My mom homeschooled me, my dad let me go to work with him. With my siblings I maintain an adequate amount of rivalry.
My ideal almond to chocolate chip ratio is 5:4.
I don't use paper towels. I do take showers.
I like dance parties.
I am vegan and I get plenty of protein.
I absolutely love my bicycle and going to potlucks.
I work on a project in El Salvador and it is one of the most radical experiences of my life.
I value sustainability and DIYing.
Hiking, clothing optional hot springs, bike riding, and snowboarding are my most favorite outdoor adventures.
Also, I make mean enchiladas and chocolate chip cookies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed! On a crazy awesome road trip I took Summer 2012.
I have hosted plenty of very neat folks, and I think you should be next, but be warned: I ask surfers who stay with me to write a haiku. About where they are from. Would you participate? Hope so!
Nothing but wonderful. So, so wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books
I never remember movies I like.
My favorite book of all time might be "Rain of Gold" by Victor Villasenor. I also really love "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau.
I'm something of a bluegrass junkie and I'm all about Elephant Revival, Shakey Graves, and Tallest Man. However, I've expanded my interests into the worlds of Sylvan Esso, Alt-J, and Mason Jennings-types. I will always love Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This question used to be "one amazing thing I've *seen,*" so:
Hundreds of thousands of tadpoles in the Redwood Creek. They were all in various stages of growth. They attached to my feet and inspired dust storms at the river's bottom. It was like nothing else.
Also I ski bummed in Crested Butte. Face shots for life.
