After completing Semester at Sea in college, I got hooked on traveling. Over the last 14 years, I have been to over 80 countries, and currently travel overseas monthly in search of new adventures.

Papua New Guinea lists as my favorite destination. Three years ago, I airdropped into the highlands with only a backpack of survival tools, including a 1950s Australian military topo map of the country. I gave myself one month to hike through the dense jungle to a port city, where I caught a flight home.
