ABOUT ME

One day, a time will come when I can get over my aversion to self-written personal blurbs. Hopefully soon, as personal blurbs are definitely the norm here on CS. When that day comes, I promise to fill this out properly, and convince you of my easy-going-ness.

兴趣

* Learning about ideas, history, languages, philosophy, cultures, machines, and just generally learning about how and why things work the way they do. Most importantly, I value learning for learning's sake.
* Talking to new people and hearing their stories. Also: talking to old friends and re-hearing their stories.
* Human solidarity.
* Hiking and enjoying the natural beauty of the places I visit.
* Good music, good food, and fermented beverages of (almost) all kinds.
* Philosophising. Having engaging conversations. Preferably on balconies, but porches, living rooms, and cramped hostel dorms will also suffice. I find this interest is best pursued while also enjoying the fermented beverages.

After reading this on CS you've probably deduced that I also enjoy travel and Oxford commas.
