Hi, all. I'm Calla, a bachelor student studying in Amsterdam. My subject is International Business Management. I'm from Xiamen, a very beautiful island in south of China. My hometown has 6 months summer, so welcome to my Xiamen and of course Amsterdam, my second home. haha.

The reason I come to Europe to study is to fulfill my dream: to travel around the Europe, I'm curious about different culture, food ( it is very important!), religion and dreams from different people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an international student live in Amsterdam, I hope I can talk with people from different background. Couchsurfing is a very amazing platform to reach different people from all of the world.

I'm good at cooking, especially for Chinese dishes. so I'm very interested in cooking meals with other people. A good way to taste different foods~

Also, the best way for traveling is to live with locals, talk with locals. Every trip is an adventure. I love it and on my way~

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rent a fish boat with my friend though we didn't know how to fish. Luckily, the ower of the boat was free that day and taught us how to fish. My friend and I are fast learner and got 18 fishes in total in the end ! The first time we tried to fish!

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach kids Chinese on weekends.
Also exchange language study with some students in Amsterdam.
Now I'm learning guitar, still a beginner.
