ABOUT ME

I am an easy going, personable person. I make friends easily, and have an ability to hold conversation with almost anybody.
As an artist I can take a bad situation and not only figure my way out, but also laugh along the way - which I think is a useful trait when you miss your train in the middle of France.

兴趣

I have always been involved in the theatre, be it writing, acting or stage managing. I volunteer at a community theatre, and also mentor youth in the arts. My creative collaborative, The Failed Magician's League, works on producing new pieces and supporting emerging artists.
I get paid work as a studio assistant, where I do lighting, sound and design.

Favourite movie: American Beauty - a wonderfully scripted view of the white-picket illusion.
Favourite book: This Book Will Save Your Life - Neil Strauss' look at how to be self-dependent.
Music - I have a very open mind when it comes to music. I won't get overly excited about gangster rap or western/country, but I won't rule it out.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After seeing a show in Stratford-Upon-Avon, I got a personal tour of the Courtyard Theatre by one of the actors. Backstage, green room, props and the armoury. Not to mention going up into the fly gallery and tech booth.

Riding the Tidal Bore in Nova Scotia; when the tides come in, you have about 5 minutes to get in a boat. It's always amazing when you get a reminder of how powerful nature is.
