Consider before you decide. (For hosts)

I'm Ashton from the Philippines, working and living in Lopburi, Thailand for.... many years I may say.

In case Lopburi is one of your stops when traveling or hitchhiking, I guess I'm your only option. I'm the only one who's active in CS that you can request to stay with. So you better read my profile and be nice when requesting to stay in my flat.

I used to live in a studio type apartment room but I moved in (June, 2024) into new mini house, 7km away from the center of Lopburi but still manageable and be able to pick you up by my motorbike once you arrive in the city center. The house is very spacious, it looks wonderful, quiet place, comfortable and probably you can just chill in my porch.

What you can do while staying in my place:

Shower. Eat some snacks. Use wifi. Chill. Have a talk. Play nintendo switch with me. Drink. Smoke cigarettes and weeds(porch) watch movie. Do yoga. Work. Whatever you want as long as we're chill and we do not break anything in the house. Haha!

Choose your style while staying in my place:

1. You're tired from your trip, just clean yourself, charge up and sleep on my bed. I'm fine, I'll stay quiet.

2. Just stay in my place, not really wanted to go out and explore, just share stories and grab some snacks and drinks and chill.

3. Much energy, ask me if I have time to send you to interesting places in my area, and yes, I will and I can. Drop by the café, mingle with the monkeys in the downtown, take pictures of the temples and so on. (I can do this on the weekend.)

~we can talk about it and arrange it. And I will try my best to be your good host. You can also read my references.

Favor: just in case you have your local money /banknote from your home country with you. Could I have 1 banknote please as a souvenir? Or I can exchange them with thai Baht. (Optional)

Expectation: I'm hoping and expecting(not really) you know the give and take system. I let you stay in my time and space for free, but at least have the courtesy and knowledge that not everything is on me. Don't be a nasty freeloader.
Another hoping and expecting from the surfers is that you practice good and proper hygiene. I also understand that you are traveling and exposed under the sun and heat, so my shower is very much welcoming you. 😉
I do not mind but would have appreciated if you have the decency to make bed after you sleep on it or wash the dishes you used when eating or drinking. Hehe! Little simple actions and knock knock initiative.

When I'm surfing...

I use couchsurfing and I sometimes request to stay with a host when I wanna meet new people and hear new stories. I can afford to stay in a hotel or hostel but it would be also fun and a good idea to be hosted by kind and warm people and treasure the moments of meeting strangers (possibly become friends) I do have plans when I go on a trip but I am also considerate and adaptive depends on the hosts. You can also read my references. So please host me. 🙏

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because I learned about couchsurfing from a traveller from Israel that I met in the jeepney(public transportation in the Philippines) and had a little talked and introduced me to couchsurfing. And now, I'm in this platform.

I enjoy MUSIC when I'm alone and doing some computer or writing works. Also while chilling in a café sipping my coffee or matcha latte.

I'm not a book worm, I rarely read BOOKS, but I would read something if I wanna learn something.

I like watching interesting MOVIES in the cinemas, Netflix or Disney+. And some videos on YouTube.
