Don't have a couch to share at the minute, but grabbing a drink or a meal with a fellow traveler is a great way to meet new people and help others experience the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite travel experience was when I had to take the cheapest seats on the train through Vietnam because the sleeper cabins were sold out. We ended up sitting next to a Vietnamese business man who could speak a little bit of English. We chatted for hours about his life in Vietnam, took turns sleeping on a wicker mat on the floor, and drank his homemade alcohol. Really great experience meeting the local people of Vietnam.

I can teach you to read and write the Korean script and how to say a few phrases, but I don't speak a ton of Korean.
