Hi there!

I'm Callum, I'm 21 years old and currently studying in Manchester at university. I'm very sociable and outgoing, and I love animals! I myself have two dogs at home, a border collie and a labrador. I love travelling and meeting new people.

I'm a massive fan of being in the outdoors, and try to always pursue an active lifestyle. I love being in the mountains, whether its skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer.

I love travelling. I've been lucky enough to have travelled to a lot of places around the world. I love trying new things and new experiences! I also enjoy cooking a lot. I love trying new recipes, and finding out and incorparating new flavours into my cooking. I also enjoy dancing. when I was travelling, I picked up a few dance moves such as trying to learn Salsa, which I will probably try and show you, much to my embarrassment.

I think trying new things is the best way to live life. I enjoy living life to the fullest, and I try and follow the path of most resistance in life. By this I mean always finding things to challenge yourself and putting yourself out of your comfort zone, and really taking advantage of what life has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, and one of the best parts of that experience is meeting new people. I also think that the best way to explore new places is by meeting the people who live there, and Couchsurfing is the best way to do that!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite genre of music is probably 70s rock, however I love listening to all types of music. My favourite artists are Pink Floyd, The Beatles, New Order, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, etc.

My two favourite films are Django Unchained and The Princess Bride. I also love any film that has Will Ferrell in it. I think he's hilarious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran the London Marathon when I was 18. It was pretty tough, and it will be long time before I run another marathon!

Teach, Learn, Share

My best party trick would probably be juggling, a skill which I would love to share! I also enjoy cooking for other people, so would be more than happy to cook a lovely meal for my hosts, with a bottle of wine or 3 of course.

I am currently learning Spanish, so I would love any help if you have any knowledge in the language. I think my dance skills could also use a bit of touching up, so any help would be appreciated!

I also love a good game of cards, or a board game, and I'll try not to get too competitive.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've got a few good travelling stories, but I'll try not to bore you too much with them. I will bring a good energy into your home. I try and live my life as actively as possible and by throwing myself 100% into everything, and the idea of couch surfing really excites me! I've also got a few goos dad jokes, which crack me up every time. Hopefully you have the same reaction....
