Born and raised in the middle of nowhere. Love hiking, exploring, and trying new things (especially food)! Always down for a drink (tea, coffee or alcoholic - whatever takes your fancy). Great sense of adventure.

Kinda work doing whatever right now. Trying to make a passion a full time job.

Spent almost the whole of 2019 travelling and the start of 2020 until lockdown happened (got trapped in Japan for a little while). Done a couple of trips since.

Currently visiting family in Japan and wanted a short trip to Korea!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

At the end of 2018 my girlfriend broke up with me 2 days before my Masters thesis was due; and when I had already booked a flight half way around the world to LA to visit her. Instead of moping around, I decided to make the most of the opportunity and planned a road trip from LA to New Orleans in time for Mardi Gras (I ended up travelling around Mexico too). Couchsurfing allowed me to connect with locals, share stories and experiences and make friends with so many people.

Turned nearly that entire year into travel thanks to the hospitality of people of CS.

I hope very soon I'll be able to open up my house to others as they have done so for me!

Gaming - Overwatch/Warzone/Overcooked.

I have taken an interest in photography. Don't have a DSLR camera yet (still don't 3 years later), but still enjoy the casual photograph from my mobile. I love night shots in cities and also have an avid interest in astrophotography when I'm able to!

When I explore a new city I pretty much just walk everywhere. I feel its the best way to stumble on random things I may otherwise not find. Pretty much my only form of exercise too haha.

Huge fan of music, gigs and festivals. I will generally go to rock/metal based ones, but I am genuinely open to any genre of music. I hadn't really been to any in 6 years due to other commitments, but over the past year (2019) I've managed to attend over 10 concerts/festivals. Missed them so much! Looking forward to the next.
