I'm a 21 year old musician and recording engineer.
I was born in Paisley, Scotland but I've spent most of my life in Perth, Western Australia.

Happy with my career and vision for my future but want to live a little and make friends all over the world (But I think i'll start with Australia first haha)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life experience is the greatest currency; and like the greediest banker chases his wealth I revel in chasing memories.

I'm 21, so it isn't as if I feel like life is too short right now, but I don't see any point in wasting time BEFORE I hit my mid-life crisis!! Creating life changing moments is worth more than a house or a car ever could be.

I want to see as much as I can, I want to look back on my life and be proud of what i've seen, and most of all I want to reduce the amount of time I spend on Netflix haha

I see couch surfing as a way for me to see the world, get to meet new people, and perform at places I never knew existed all whilst on a not-so-great buskers budget.

Interests

- Attending or performing at local gig music spots
- Busking and jamming if you can play any instruments
- Testing my fears, Like cliff jumping, amusement parks or removing a spider from a house. I guess i'm on the lower end of the adrenaline junkie scale but I still enjoy it.

Music, Movies, and Books

TOUGH QUESTION!!

Music: I'm really quite open to music. As with a lot of people it's almost like another best friend. Though sometimes I can hear Professor Oak saying "There is a time and a place for everything ...". With that being said My favourites are The Gorillaz, Biffy Clyro, We Were Promised Jetpacks, The Killers, Blink 182, Bloc Party, The Love Junkies, Paolo Nutini, Sticky Fingers, DZ Deathrays and Violent Soho

For some reason I only really listened to pop-punk type bands growing up: Blink 182, Greenday, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance (Thankfully without going through the feelings attached to their music haha).

BOOKS: I feel like the next 2 years of my life aren't about books. It's about meeting people, going out for dinner, nights out, and adventures. With that being said ... ... Harry Potter is my go to. I am the man to bring to a HP trivia night.

Movies: I have been on a bit of a disney/dreamworks binge as of late but I also enjoy most of the James Franco/Seth Rogen type flicks. Once again though would prefer to go out or if worst came to worst play a board/card game. P.s I reign in boggle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's such a tough question.

I feel like my AMAZING thing hasn't happened yet. Maybe it could on a night we go out. Maybe we'll befriend dolphins and they'll lead us to the lost city of Atlantis. I don't know.

- Despite what my gran predicted I managed to balance being a musician and not being a drug-addict perfectly fine
- I met Ed Sheeran and Our Last Night
- I opened up my first real recording studio in the city by the age of 20
- Insighted many mosh pits by jumping off stage and pushing people with my guitar
