Overview
About Me
I just graduated from college in the US, where I studied psychology and economics. It was a great formal education, but I felt that it sort of shrunk my understanding of people as kind, social, giving beings — and I both want to be that way and be surrounded by people who are that way, so I’m traveling to find them! I like to do adventurous things because they make me come alive, and that’s my biggest goal :)
I love love love people, kids, hiking, swimming in rivers/waterfalls, fishing, rugby, writing music, adventure, telling and hearing stories, and cooking with friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In short, I love people and I love experiential learning and I feel that both hosting and being hosted are the perfect sources of these things. I don't like fancy travel in hotels and I'd much rather learn from real people than a tour brochure.
