About Me
Hello!
I'm Cam, an easy going nature, animal and food enthusiast.
I'm a vegan, a taker of pictures, a cooker of food, a nature explorer, a animal carer, a music fan, a book reader, a day dreamer, and a traveller of places.
I have been lucky enough to make and have friends and family across the globe which has spurred me on to travel to certain places, I am adventurous and outgoing but also quiet and seclusive at times.
In the last few years I have spent five months in New Zealand, working for two of those in a winery. Five months in Ontario, Canada, over two months of which I was sleeping in a tent. Two months experiencing Vava'u, Tonga in cyclone season and a year in Australia where I lived with cousins in Sydney and spent three months on a stable.
My favourite thing to do anywhere I am is to find the best view, I will do my best to find the best hiking trails with the most reward.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have decided to try using social media and technology for a bit of help, as I want to stretch my time exploring as far as possible. I have a few plans in the near future which could possibly land me back in the South Pacific islands and Australia.
But considering that it is several months ahead of where I am now, I have decided to do some backpacking.
When I travel alone I find it can be hard to make certain decisions, and I usually pick a more solitary choice whatever it is. I hope that by couchsurfing I can meet more local people wherever I might be which is always the best way to experience everything that place has to offer.

Teach, Learn, Share
Very slowly forcing myself to learn more and more French. I am an extreme beginner, nowadays wishing I had payed more attention in my french lessons during school.
I also wish to learn Spanish once I can start to comprehend French, even the slightest..
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't have enough talent with a pencil to teach art, or with a camera for photography however I do love Art and Photography so maybe I can still share something there. I mostly hope to be able to converse in any topic, cook some delicious vegan food, offer some funny and interesting stories but to also leave with gratitude, new experiences and new friends. Having this mutual interest for a more sporadic experience I hope that I get to involve myself in cultures and communities that I wouldn't have thought of otherwise!
