ABOUT ME

Hey Everyone,

I've just started the next big adventure of my life that is to say heading to the US of A with my fiance! We're on the road at the moment but we look forward to Hosting in New York City. I'm looking forward to paying a little back to the community after I met so many generous people throughout Europe and South America.

In 2011 I finished 9 months of study in Paris and backpacked around europe before I had the great opportunity of a volunteership in Peru to help out in a school for special needs kids. I've spent the last year and a half in Australia with my beautiful partner, finishing my degree and working full time in hospitality.

I look for genuine cultural experience everywhere I go. I really appreciate any and all help I can get. I love reading, and the acting and singing and going outside my comfort zone. I'm outgoing and friendly and have a passion for life, trying and experiencing the new.

I'm happy to sit back with a good book, play board games or hike or climb (I would say riding but I am catastrophically bad on a bike) that said I have improved significantly sooo maybe...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently travelling up the West coast of the US, but as soon as we hit the East Coast the couch will be opened :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was new to CouchSurfing I really looked forward to meeting new people and experiencing countries through the eyes of the locals. This for me informed the way I travelled and gave me far more confidence in each locale, even the ones where I was alone.

Now that I am more stable and have to start a life, I look forward to hosting some new faces and showing them around my new city, probably discovering the unknown all at the same time.
