About Me

My place for hosting is open to 2-3 guests for 1-2 nights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, we've hosted a good number of groups from around the World, and would love to try surfing, haven't had anyone from Africa yet... or Antarctica but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My lovely daughter is a learner and always enjoys the intelligent company. Couch Surfing is something I view as sustainable and world changing. Although, I've not surfed, I've received far more in friendship than I've extended in labor. Couch Surfers have been a great addition to fun and learning. It's great to have a bbq, cook a meal or check out the beauty of Colorado with new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first time surfing was in Sedona with a wonderful gentleman who showed us to the top of Bell Rock, hosted other surfers at the same time, and showed us a great time! We would love to have more awesome surfing experiences and are relying on you, the couchsurfing community to put us up for a night, give us a cold or hot shower, hose the dirt off, and let us employ a space of patio, balcony, room, couch or whatever. Promise keepers who swear to treat hosts with our dually cool presence.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are like fire to my blood, I can not get enough. Pick a subject, and I'll discuss it with anyone. Music is amazing, genre is a helpful guide, music should almost always be modified for a better end result, yea I like progressive. Jazz makes my heart beat just right, bluegrass makes my foot tap. Music is about feeling and should have a positive effect on people. Lord of the Rings absolutely makes me want to go on an adventure. I can't stand not being able to jump into the movie, so the characters race through my mind as if I'm an elf fighting the battle for Middle Earth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Boarding a storm on the North Shore of Oahu in December. The waves were without mercy.

Teach, Learn, Share

My daughter wants to be a vet and would enjoy having a friend who is active. She is also into crafts, athletic, and has the upbeat personality. Permaculture and Aquaponics (fish and plants) hobbies. Growing food is the plan built a green house with a CSer from France. With hobbies I like to go big, at age 21 built a tree house, it's about 12 meters off the ground. Cooking and smoking food is a hobby. I'd like to learn more about canning, soups, jams, baking etc.
