Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Its a great way to get away from the typical touristy traveling experience and get in touch with the real, the local, and the beautiful things that make up cities, towns, and villages. It also allows travelers to connect with generous, open people while sharing stories, perspectives and insights.

Interests

I like music: Played guitar and bass in a few bands when I was younger. Now I mainly produce music on my computer. I go to concerts/shows whenever an artist I like is in town. I like the outdoors: Getting out in nature, and hiking; traveling. I'd really like to learn how to forage my own food. I read quite a bit: Mostly sci-fi and fantasy but other stuff too. Health is another passion of mine: Cooking and eating right. I get plenty of exercise, practice yoga, and run.
