ABOUT ME

I love to try new things (doesn't everyone). I am not one that can just sit around, I love experiencing the in depth parts of a city and really learning local culture. I think I am a very laid back person, I enjoy making new friends, hearing new music and shown new ways to think, experience and feel life. I believe everyone has something to offer and teach and influence to be made. Surfing and kayaking are two of my favorite things. I enjoy all types of weather but I think deep down I still might be a cold bunny. I really enjoy going up to NH and skiing with my family.

PHILOSOPHY

Be calm, I can do this. Everyone stresses out sure, but its what you keep telling yourself that counts. Positivity is a big deal and a lot stronger force than most people think. If you just stay positive and proactive you can go a lot farther than you thought you could! I am at a point in life right now where my body can take hard work and long hours and I intend to capitalize on that so that someday my family will live the life I've hoped for them. If that means I have to wait a little while then so be it! But right now I want to just enjoy what I feel like is the best part of my life- being in a new place, meeting people and just enjoying "what is"

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to read although I don't get to do it much. My music taste is eclectic but I mostly enjoy a little more folksy of a vibe, anything I can relax or have fun to. When a song makes you smile, thats a good song.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ireland was the most amazing things I have seen. Hiking Colorado National Monument was the most amazing thing I've done. I conquered every fear I had that weekend. I've seen dozens of acts of hope and kindness... but thats not enough for me yet. I am looking to see and make more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn a skill from as many people as I can. As far as teaching? I can teach you my knowledge of cooking (which is actually pretty vast) and gardening... how to find the perfect spot on the water and how to attempt to find peace with what is. I won't ever teach someone if they don't want to know... who knows, you probably already know better than me!
