ABOUT ME

All about me? This would take forever. I am just wanting to explore the world and I don't care if that means forty minutes down the road or a days worth or flying.

I am very social. Extremely talkative, which I apologize in advance if that annoys you. I just get excited about things.

I have been told that I am funny and I know a lot of random facts and like to spit them out sometimes.

I went to one year of culinary school but realized I didn't want to make something I love so much to be a career that ruins my passion for food and nutrition. I love to cook and I am very good at the basics. I also bake quite well, and I am always interested in recipe swapping or learning something new.

I am a huge animal lover so if you have pets of any kind, I will be more than comfortable being around them. I have had dogs and cats my whole life, a few birds and rats as well. Right now I have a hedgehog, named Mo'.

I am very much into 'indie' music such as Mumford & Sons, Of Monsters & Men, Avett Brothers and what not. Although, my idol in life is P!nk. She's just a strong woman and I respect that.

I have a few tattoos and wanting more. They are small. I am very open to tattoos and piercings, and I am open to people who aren't open to them.

I am an aspiring Buddhist and I am really trying to adapt my life around that way of living, if you are a Buddhist, I am more than willing to listen to advice or stories.

I have a few blogs. I love blogging. Mostly because I love stating my opinions and I really enjoy writing (although I have used 'really' numerous times and that's not proper).

PHILOSOPHY

As of right now I feel like I need to develop a well-rounded personal philosophy. I have hit a lot of bumps in my life and have been trying to mend everything for years...So, I guess my personal philosophy is this...

I was told about this site by a friend who wants to do this with me and I hope I can house some surfers and also crash on some nice people's couches.

The Hunger Games, Dean Koontz, Catch-22, Brave New World, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (book and movie). Fahrenheit 451 is my favorite book. I love reading, couldn't even try to type all these books down.

Been on ESPN, well my football team was, you saw me for two seconds while they showed the band, but still, it was very exciting for our small town school.

Going to school with NFl/MLB/NBA's next huge star; Bubba Starling, we went to school together since second grade, it'll be a big deal someday.
