About Me

ABOUT ME

I´m funny and imaginative, I like to travel a lot, go hiking, take pictures, read, watch good movies, hang out with friends and go to music events around town. I like to eat healthy so I do my best to avoid fast food, but I love to cook at home as well as try food from all over the world. I love nature and all things sustainable and I try to steer my life in that direction. I try to enjoy every moment of my life and do things that make me feel purposeful.

PHILOSOPHY

I have so many! My favorite is the classic: "If you can dream it, you can do it". And yes, I have repeatedly put it to the test, with amazing results!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like comedies, I love animations, and I delight in Sci-Ff movies. I like all kinds of music, regardless of origin and genre. I love relaxing music, but at the same time I love to dance, so whatever has a good beat is on my list! I love literature, I grew up reading romance and classic novels, and I enjoy a good book whenever I have the chance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked up to Machu Picchu: it´s not easy, but it´s absolutely worth every second!

Walked around on the floating islands of lake Titicaca: wobbly and moist, which only makes the experience more worth while!

Fed squirrels, ducks and a wayward mouse in Chapultepec. Cutest critters ever!!

Every new place I visit is an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a few basic phrases in Romanian (my native language) for those interested :D or in some other of the languages I speak. I can also teach a few Qigong moves.

I´d love to learn new languages and everything related to music fascinates me, so if you play a musical instrument, I´d love a lesson or two! Interesting new recipes are also more than welcome!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories and experiences of the places I´ve visited, Tai Chi and Qi Gong moves that I´ve been practicing for a few months now; I'd love to do sing-alongs (a longtime dream of mine :D ) and I adore nighttime existential talks around a campfire.
