ABOUT ME
I am a constant surprise to my best friends, who think they know me by now. That's because I'm constantly changing. :) Trying to describe my constant flaws and characteristics, I'd say others see me as intelligent, funny, stubborn and picky. :)) But they also see me open in other aspects of life, such as experimenting new things, taking the less traveled path and resisting cliches. :))

I see myself as highly introspective, hopeful, curious, logical and funny. Sometimes anxious.

I have a full time job in marketing, which I love. I am one of those people who like what they do for a living.

I guess it's pretty clear that I love travelling and I dream of going to many, many new places. I am always jealous of the people who can take a sabbatical year off and just travel around.
I enjoy going to new places, which are unique or distinct, in some way and discovering the new.
Sometimes, I become a party animal and other times, I enjoy a mellow evening in some chill place. I enjoy motion and restlessness as much as I enjoy quietness and serenity of a place empty of human presence (like a forest!). :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I want to know new people from other paths of life, people with whom I might find some common ground and to broaden my experience.
I read a lot and as a reader, you are always fascinated with the rich, interior worlds of other human beings. Being in a new, fresh place and travelling is the cherry on top. :)
Also I want to travel by myself for the first time this year.

Interests

I am also a WOW player, but a newbie (not necessarily a noob). I hope so. :))
I am fascinated with human mind.
If I hadn't chosen the marketing path, I'd probably end up being a physicist, which I found easy and interesting some ten years ago or a psychiatrist/psychologist.
I like writing and sometimes drawing.
I am a cat person. :))
I love biking on a summer day as for sports, swimming is okay. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
I listen to a wide range of music, but doing a careful research on what type, I'd say it's mostly baroque & dream pop, minimal techno, new wave, glitch, alternative, psychedelic or art rock, indie pop, indie alternative, trip hop and more.

Movies
I've seen hundreds of movies, but I have to say among the ones I really liked are:
- Chris Nolan movies
- MOB movies and action movies and hero movies (I had a crush on Robert de Niro when I was a teenager)
- WW2 movies
- sick movies (Antichrist, Se7en, Gone Girl, Prisoners, Fight Club, Silence of the lambs, The Duke of Burgundy etc)
- biographies (De Lovely, La vie en rose, A beautiful mind, Bernard and Doris etc)
- good drama (The English Patient, Revolutionary Road, My left foot, Goodbye Lenin etc)
- movies that make you think (Midnight in Paris, Children of men, The Prestige, The perks of being a wallflower, One flew over the cuckoos nest, Persona, The Machinist, Mulholland Drive, etc)
I'm not gonna continue. I watch all kinds of movies, as long as they are good. :)

Books
As for books, in the past 2 years I've read a lot of psychology books, School of Life editions but I also try to keep on open mind and read a little bit of everything. Meaning, I try to read all the important books that are regarded as valuable to literature. :)
