Hi! I'm Cameron and I am new to the Couchsurfing community. I am really excited about Couchsurfing for the first time and the opportunity to meet and stay with locals on my upcoming trip to Amsterdam.

Things that I enjoy very much include music, movies and poetry. I love nature as well and I am lucky enough to live in Northern California, close enough to beaches and mountains alike.

A well balanced life is important to me. I value compassion and try to spread positivity. One ability I have is the presence to strike up a conversation with almost anyone. I love and respect all walks of life.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I hope to use Couchsurfing to add to my fulfilling solo journey.

I have never been to the Netherlands before, but I love to travel. I am coming to Europe by myself and while in the Netherlands I am to visit a friend who is playing professional Baseball for the RCH Pinguins. (He is American).

I must admit, I did not know much about the community or platform until recently, but it appeals to me on so many levels. First and foremost, I find the simple humanity aspect to be really special. I was referred by a friend who "surfed" in India. I was inspired by his story.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all types of musical from Classical to Reggae. I can say music is a passion of mine. I make hip hop and play guitar for fun. And I love going to shows!
Similarly, I love to relax and watch a film in the evenings to unwind, everything from Noir to 70's Kung Fu.
As for books, I am actually looking forward to the train in Europe so I can have some time to read. Most recently I have been reading poetry, Charles Bukowski, Richard Brautigan etc.

I am hoping to say Couchsurfing in Amsterdam! I am excited to make new memories.

If I had to choose though, attending the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and watching a few matches was very special for me.

I was able to attend Colombia vs Greece, and France vs Ecuador.

On the other hand I am eager to get to know what its like to live in Amsterdam from a host.
