I moved to Canada from the midwestern United States almost 3 years ago to be with my wife. Professionally I do graphic design and illustration work for various clients. Games, illustrations, logos, packaging, promotional and web.

In my spare time I enjoy doing arts and crafts, singing and dancing to music, going for leisurely walks, eating out, playing video games, teaching myself new skills and staying up eating junk food while watching obscure, bizarre Youtube videos.

My wife and I currently live just outside of Vancouver, BC in New Westminster. We have a cat, Ickis. We're pretty laid back and we love good food. . . including Pizza Bites, dry garlic ribs, BBQ ribs and the awesome crispy bits you can pick off the tray after they come out of the oven. We also appreciate a wide variety of vegetarian and ethnic foods.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife and I are looking to relocate to The Maritimes. I'm taking an opportunity to visit Saint John, New Brunswick and look for work of any kind.

This is so that we can have, as the city introduction website's slogan says, life on our terms. We fell in love with Saint John's heritage buildings, size, pace and cost of living. We want to be able to take pride in and make impactful contributions to our community.

So, I would love to also get to know the area and the people who live there. I would love to hear about the time you've spent in Saint John and maybe introduce me to some of the things you love most about the city.
