I am 18 years old, and I grew up in small town Kansas. I am attending a public university next year, and I will be studying Computer Science and Physics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I grew up watching Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, and Star Trek: Voyager. I read a lot a fantasy/adventure books when I was younger, too. Some favorites include the Ranger's Apprentice, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Artemis Fowl. I like most kinds of music, but when I'm alone I usually listen to string ensembles or Latin American music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been a counselor twice at a summer camp in Colorado. It's been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Being responsible for a half-dozen (or more) little kids nonstop for a week is exhausting, but there are so many moments that make it worth it. Also, I wore a dress and sang "I feel pretty" for the kids last year, and that was pretty amazing.
